Small businesses beware. I have been a customer since 2006. I tried to get a VISA with a $5000.00 credit limit for my small business. Although I have established excellent credit including a personal LOC of $35,000.00 I was denied due to Scotia Bank not giving credit to small businesses due to COVID. Yes, I could apply for a 60,000.00 loan through CERB but I don't need it. As a result, I have changed banks. Farewell and Goodbye.
