    Extremely friendl...

    Extremely friendly and professional service. Was referred to Oilers by a friend of ours who had used them for residential work. The final price was what it was budgeted to be. Extremely satisfied with the quality; will continue to use Oilers Electric as our primary contractor! Thanks Shani!

    Lousy customer service

    One man operation. A real know-it-all. I was having other renos done at the time, and he just had to offer an opinion on everything. In the end, he was rather upset that I insisted on paying him with Mastercard rather than in cash, because then he had to do an invoice and declare the income.

    Oilers Electric is a small operation, however we are registered, insured and a member of Alberta electrical contractors association and we are in good standing with the BBB. When we quote each job, we let customers know that we do not accept Visa or Mastercard, as we are not registered with them. We accept cheques and cash. We provide an invoice with a GST number for both cash and cheque paid bills. We also provide a written receipt. We are a general contracting company specializing in Electrical. I had offered my professional opinion to this individual as there were code concerns with his renovation. This individual kept asking questions, so I provided my option. I believe he was upset because he didn't want to pay with our approved methods and insisted on visa, which was just not possible. We are currently reviewing our payment methods and we are considering including visa and mastercard.
