Having recently moved back to the area, I found out my cat has been ill since I was gone, throwing up everyday and losing a substantial amount of weight. Obviously, the cat needs to see a vet. Unfortunately, after moving expenses, damage deposit etc, and pay from my new job not starting for another three weeks I phoned to ask if they arranged payment plans. I was told to go ask my bank for overdraft.
While I can understand a business having a policy, I believe a simple no would have sufficed. I'm not impressed and will use another vet clinic for future appointments.
