This vet doesn't deserve to be in business. So unprofessional and very disappointed in them. They don't care about your pet,it's all about the money. With all my visits there with my sick dog, I never once met the vet. It took me 3 phone calls to get my dogs chart sent to someone who can actually treat my pet. Shame, shame!!!!!

The best veterinarian in medicine hat these guys help you out so much I cannot believe how great they were I have went to other veterinarians and they don’t do as much is with these guys that can do these are the greatest people in medicine hat for veterinarians are patient they’re nice they’re kind very hard-working and loving caring people

Very caring towards my dog and very thorough in explaining things.

I was 3 hours late for my appointment to have my kittens neutered. They took us anyway because of the stress my kittens had been under being in their carrying cage for 4 hours. We had a flat tire on the way in, the tow truck came after a wait of 1 1/2 hour wait. Then the tow truck needed a tow,(engine died). They were courteous and patient. They were wonderful with my boys, thank you.

Brought our cat in to diagnose ear mites and get treatment done for him. The veterinary assistance staff were wonderful, however the actual vet belittled me and basically tried to get as much money out of as possible by offering different food brands, medical stuff, and treatment routes. He also did not tell me about the cheaper treatment route for our other cats, the veterinary assistant is the one that informed me of them. From now on I will be taking my cats elsewhere.

Overcharging for services compared to other vet clinics. I dropped my dog, Percy, off for a regular check up and when I got her back the bill was $190.. I talked to the vet and he said the checkup was $120 and the nail cutting fee was $70 because they had grown too long.. I was ashtonished as I just had her nails cut a week before plus his checkup fee is outrageous. He promised me a discount if I wrote him a 5 star review. Well here it is and this is the truth..

Fur baby teeth cleaning and extractions.

My cat went in for a teeth cleaning. The entire staff was sympathetic about my concerns. The doc personally called me several times to update me on his progress. When the surgery was finished the doc walked me through everything he did, there were pics and video and even the bad teeth. I felt very pleased with the service and care from the staff. They took wonderful care of my fur baby.

We have recently moved to Calgary from Medicine hat. We don't have kids so our dogs Rusty and Emma are our kids. I want the best when it comes to their care. We had found this Vet clinic after tremendous research and after going to every other Vet clinic in Medicine hat. Everybody in this vet clinic is so friendly and they truly care. We found their prices to be very reasonable too. Moreover it does not even smell like vet clinic. We don't mind driving to Medicine hat for my kids' checkup. Keep up the good work City vet!

I've been to a few vet places in town in the past with my two boxers and now I would never go anywhere but here. Awesome vets. They actually care about your animals and do everything they can to help. They aren't about trying to get money out of you they do what's best for your pet and go above and beyond to help them.

Great place, great team, great pet care!

Though I have only been in for routine checkups and vaccinations, I can tell the entire staff at City Vet is caring and compassionate, and you can tell they truly love their jobs. The vets are not only knowledgable, but they take that extra time to explain everything fully. I will be going to City Vet for a long time to come. Thanks for taking great care of my fur baby!
