    I have been a client for more than 20 years. Mika and Yoko are skilled & knowledgeable in cutting, styling and care of hair and scalp. They work with clients' hair type and face & head shape adapting new trends to create the perfect style for each client. The tranquil surroundings and ergonomic chairs make for a relaxing, enjoyable experience not to be missed.

    This is a gem of a salon on Lower Lonsdale located just minutes away from the Seabus. The atmosphere is soothing - from the music to the complimentary green tea to the ergonomically designed chairs for hair washing. Both Mika and Yoko are serious about their profession and regularly attend Vidal Sassoon training sessions in New York, London and San Francisco to stay au courant . You will get an inspired and unique haircut that will turn heads.

    Yoko's is an exce...

    Yoko's is an exceptional quality salon with a Japanese and green/natural influence. I have been a long term client and I would not go anywhere else...EVER! The experience and attention to detail include a divine shampoo/head massage in state of the art chairs, a stunning atmosphere and music, natural clean quality products and as conservative or as fun and funky a haircut as you desire! I get ssked daily where I get my haircut! Love love love this place and people!

    As a long-term client, I can’t imagine having my hair done anywhere other than at Yoko’s relaxing and sophisticated salon. I know that whatever life throws at me between cuts, my hair will never let me down. I can be confident, too, that the products used will be gentle on my skin and kind to the environment. Knowledgeable, professional, and always up-to-date, Yoko, Tad, and Mika see beyond mere fashion to create individual style; they really care about their clients.

    I am a customer o...

    I am a customer of Yoko's Haute Coiffure since 2008 and I could not be more satisfied with the results. Mika is the one who styles my hair and I appreciate so much that on the one hand she encourages me to be bold and fashion forward, but on the other hand she understands and respects my personal taste. She is very accomplished with colouring hair and the products she uses do not wash out as fast as other lesser ones. She always gives me a funky cut and my husband complements me when I come home
