Mount Ida Medical Centre

I have been a patient at the Mt Ida Clinic for many years. I have found the staff pleasant, efficient, kind, accommodating and compassionate. Being a Walk In Clinic there is sometimes a wait but I always get care as soon as is possible. Dr Lorenz is my family Dr and I have been and am very satisfied with the excellent treatment I receive from him. I have also occasionally seen other Dr’s at the clinic when Dr Lorenz. was unavailable and also received excellent care from each one.

Don't know about the other reviewers but I have received quality medical care on more than one visit. Sometimes a bit of a wait, but it's a walk-in.

I had a really bad experience in this clinic and I would not recommend it to anyone. Specifically, "doctor" Attie Heunis. He made me feel uncomfortable and insulted due to his demeaning attitude and lack of sympathy. He did not handle the appointment professionally and made it clear that as the patient I have no value; he was unnecessarily rough and hurt me during the examination. Nothing was resolved and I went back home feeling worse than before. Another clinic is your best option.

went in here and was glad to see that there was a no perfumes allowed sign on door but when i went in a non service dog was inside and the medical staff had no problems with this. being someone who is not only allergic to dogs but sees how pets shouldnt be allowed in a doctors office (ie allergies, diseases and unsanititary habits) was completely appalled and will never return there
