The boats they have are very well equipped with nice stereo systems, lights and good cushions. My children really like the ride and our captain was also very good and very talkative.
We rented the pontoon boat for a 50th birthday party and family reunion in July 2012. We were able to arrive at the restaurant for our party in style and our guests had a blast. There is no comparison with the boats offered by other companies we looked at. Other company's day boats were uncomfortable, stripped-down and very basic, but at Waterway Houseboats, we got a fully-loaded cruiser, complete with an ipod dock and enough comfortable seating for everyone.
We had a great time on the big pontoon boat and will return to rent the jet boat!
The people who run this company have many years of experience and are very friendly and helpful. We loved the time we spent on the river, with so many interesting perspectives that you don't get from land. However, there is a learning curve to becoming at ease behind the wheel, and I wish we had brought along a pair of binoculars! The beds on the boat were comfortable and the on board kitchen was well equipped, but you have to be skinny to fit in the shower! Sleeping on the water was very relaxi
Nice and relaxing. Book online, they have a fast line inside when you go to pickup tickets. Staff were nice. Did not do the stop at the castle but it does circle and gets pretty close.

We hired Mirage 40 from Waterway Houseboats for our summer vacation on Shuswap Lake. We found that there were a lot of different activities to do on the lake. We hiked and enjoyed boating on the lake. The houseboat itself was very comfortable and even the adults enjoyed jumping into the water from the slide. This was a very memorable vacation. Thank you.

We planned our best friend’s bachelor party on Mirage 42 from Waterway Houseboats. Shuswap Lake is very beautiful and it affords travellers a chance to camp or explore. We tried out kayaking and had a blast. I highly recommend taking a discounted Midweek tour. Waterway Houseboats rock!

We booked 2 boats from the Waterway Houseboats line for our family reunion. The houseboats were such a great experience for the kids, especially because of the slide. We read on the website that there was barbecue so we got lot of meat to be grilled. Also, we took all the bedding and others the website mentioned we needed to carry. It was such a great experience. We hired the Mirage 44 when we wanted to have a different vacation. We were 5 friends and wives. And I must tell you, it was a great vacation. We went during spring and got a great deal on the houseboat rental. The lake was serene and we had a great overall experience. Definitely returning.
