Rhonda Dent Photography

Rhonda Dent started with photography at the early age of 15 thanks to a family she babysat for; the father was a hobbyist photographer and Rhonda was always borrowing his camera equipment. One of her early successes was a Remembrance Day project when she dressed up her brother as a soldier, staged him in the forest, and did a photo essay as though he was in the trenches. That earned her an A+ and encouraged her to pursue her craft more seriously.

While Rhonda branched out and did a number of different things in the intervening years, including acting and producing in theatre and TV and film, her heart always led her back to photography, and after completing BCIT’s Venture Program for entrepreneurs, she decided to commit to her main passion fulltime.
