Symmetrix Exercise & Rehab

From start-up to high-growth company, Vancouver's Symmetrix was the brainchild of Terry Stone, founder and principal and practicing kinesiologist. The impetus spawned when Terry, with his entrepreneurial spirit and practical need to support himself at university, rented a huge house in Burnaby, filled it with exercise equipment and started the company with a focus on personal training.

He and his wife Sheron, who he met at SFU, both acquired their kinesiology degrees. Sheron was always athletically inclined — in fact there's not a job on her resume that isn't fitness related; for Terry, a business and marketing degree came first.

Sheron, now principal and practicing kinesiologist, joined Symmetrix full-time in 1999, and five years later Symmetrix studio opened in Yaletown. With a solid reputation as an exercise rehabilitation and personal training company, Symmetrix's proven strategy helps their clients reach their individual goals. Their longevity is built on lasting relationships of respect and support with dedicated clients (some as long as 24 years). Everyone on their team is a practicing kinesiologist and member with the BC Association of Kinesiologists, attaining the highest expertise in the field.
