No sympathy and bed side manner. For a cyst I have been there 3 times. 1st time they said they would send a requisition for utra sound, after more than 40 days I still have not heard from anyone. 2 more times I went there and told them I never received info for Ultasound . Nothing yet. my cyst poped by itself and I am afraid it may get infected.

Very rude and not sympathetic at all. For their lack of clarity - I never got an apology just a c’est la vie kind of attitude. When I complained the receptionist just said well we could make you see a doctor for a fee. I don’t mind paying - I told her - it’s not about the money but about you acknowledging the mistake and acknowledging that I will be paying for your mistake. No apology and the another supervisor jumped in - to say that’s it. HIDEOUS. Free service is not the best.

Overall the clinic is good. I had good experiences with all but one doctor. If Dr N. Wardle is working do yourself a favor and go to another clinic.

Funny, for those who say the front staff is "rude" I have been to this clinic numerous times and have never found them to be so, on the contrary, they have always been nothing but courteous and professional to me. Having said that, I will say that is always the way I approach them and I do think this makes quite a difference in their attitude. Of course. So, perhaps it is time we took a look at our own conduct before we judge others too harshly.

I walked into the clinic at about 6pm when they are supposed to close at 8pm-ish. There was one other person waiting to get in and the walk-in clinic was "at full capacity so closing early". Not only was it not busy, being a walk-in clinic that is open late should not just decide close early...

Wow...I cannot believe the comments about the support staff. I have found them extremely kind and accommodating, especially considering the circumstances they're often faced with...long lines, patients coughing in their face, screaming at them...and worse! They do a great jobs and the doctors are incredible!!

Like all clinics, this one has a mixture of highly experienced and newer staff doctors. Generally, the quality of health care is very high; unfortunately, the word of this has got around, so wait times may be high -- up to 3 hr. for popular doctors, and typically 1-2 hr. otherwise, so attend early if possible. Weekends are usually less busy if you can wait.

In the past, they don’t charge any fee for referring you to a physio or massage therapy and other medical services. Now they charge $25.00 for every referral. I wonder how many patients are aware of this unnecessary fees?

There has been/remains a possibility of some excellent help here, at least a couple of real doctors - IF one can be seen. It's just possibility, though, not probability. Since the reputation for cold, judgemental, dismissive reception corresponds to some of the medical advice doled out, the attitude goes deeper than the front desk. Maybe the sheer volume of desperate need has resulted in this cold, hard, "take a ticket/move along" minimalist approach. Or maybe it's just a money/business focus.

front desk staff efficient and always kind to me: faxing off prescriptions to pharmacy etc. Due to the high volume of patients and some in worse shape than others might contribute to a so called attitude. Walk a mile....

This clinic is legendary for its rude and unprofessional receptionists. I would go to any other clinic in the greater Victoria area first. The doctors are OK, nothing outstanding, but the support staff are bottom of the barrel.
