Burgess was hired to install a line to our fridge for water and ice. A few days later the fitting blew off and flooded our home. They have said they were not responsible, it was the fault of the manufacturer of the fitting. They were non responsive to our attempts to mitigate the damages they caused. They provided the part not us so they are at fault and are responsible. Do not use this company if you value your home. There are many more qualified plumbing companies in Williams Lake.

They came to do a furnace service and minor furnace repairs. The technician that wasn’t qualified and didn’t bring all the correct equipment. He took three different trips to the shop to get the correct supplies, all of which was time I was charged for. In the end, the technician didn’t fix the problem and left stating that he would price out a part and get back to me. He never got back to me. The bill ended up being double what I expected and I had to hire someone else to finish the job.

I have done a lot of business with them in the four years I have lived in Williams Lake. Everything has been top notch. I had vandals at my home a year ago. They came the next day to install a security light even though I know they were busy. Thats the kind of business Burgess is. They prioritize things.

My experience with the plumbers in 100 Mile House was awful. One doesn't show up for scheduled appointments and calls in sick regularly. The other one appears to hate his job and will tell you to take your business elsewhere. Hopefully they do some much needed morale building. Also VERY expensive when they finally do the work you may wait for months to actually have completed.
