Alpine Animal Hospital Spay & Neuter Clinic Of Winnipeg

I’ve been taking my pets to alpine for a long time. Recently I have become very dissatisfied with the employees here. I have two dogs a male and female who are 2 months apart. We took our female to get spayed there about 3 months ago and the day after her surgery she began to urinate blood. We took her back and they diagnosed her with a UTI. We took our male to get neutered there this week and the same thing happened to him. No accountability from the vets there. Very disappointed.

Aiko was diagnosed with severe liver damage by Dr Standish. Dr Standishs statement was that Ajkos liver is at the end of its life and it looks like alcoholics liver ( those were his exact words ). He also suggested that the best thing to do for Ajko would be to put him down. Ajko was not acting like he was ready to be put down. Doctor Standish also refused to consult with VCVM in Saskatoon. We took Ajko to Saskatoon and he was diagnosed with gastrointestinal decease, his liver is fine.

Dr nichol is awesome does not sugar coat anything or push unessary tests on you. I have never had to question her as she shows me what’s wrong with my dogs. She’s very professional saved me lots of money over the years. My 3 dogs love her. Highly recommend her.

I have been going here for many yrs for my pets.They have always been the most professional,compassionate&did everything they could to help my pets with whatever problem I had.I recently had my dog in to be checked and this is the first time I have been dissatisfied.The Dr I seen this time seemed to only want to do several tests &was going to cost me over $500.I settled for 1 test that showed everything was normal.$250 later & I left with nothing done to help my dog.This Dr.was only after $$$$

Alpine animal hospital in Winnipeg seems to think they can do whatever they want and talk you up to more costly procedures. If you complain or challenge the partners they will tell you to take your pet somewhere else using the reason that there is no longer the trust relationship between the client and business when in fact the business created the lack of trust.

Dr. Standish and Dr. Nichol are by far the loveliest, most caring and professional veterinary doctors I've ever met. They took a lot of time out of their day to properly diagnose my dog with the help of their staff team. The atmosphere is welcoming and I cannot recommend this clinic more highly.
