    Rothesay Heat Pump - EcoHeat EcoHome

    Mark and Jay (and staff) are great guys and they really know their stuff. My 3 unit heat pump was installed expertly and efficiently and works great. They took the time to quickly get back to me and answer any questions I had, even a year after installation. They do generators, air exchangers and solar too... because of my experience with them, EcoHeat will definitely be where I turn first when I'm in the market for anything they can help me with.

    We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your excellent installation and service since having our Daikin Mini-Split heat pump system installed in September of 2011. We had asked for quotes from several suppliers for similar systems however found your Company to be one of the most knowledgeable on this type of system. In addition you listened to some of our concerns and requirements for the installation should we decide to proceed. The information you provided was factual even though we were skeptical of such a system to actually heat our new home. Since owning our own homes over the years we have experienced forced air furnaces, hot water baseboard heating and electric baseboard heating. We went through last winter for the first time with a Daikin mini-split system which ecoHeat installed, and for the first time since owing our homes my wife was warm with no cold drafts. Heat was even throughout the room floor to ceiling even down to -21C. Throughout the winter we only had the backup electric heat on maybe 3- 4 nights for short periods. The single unit upstairs provided heat for the complete upstairs and although positioned 55’ from our bedroom we did not have to have any heat on in the bedroom throughout the winter. The units are quiet and obviously quite efficient. We are looking forward to further savings next winter as the attic insulation will be upgraded from R 20 to R 50 and we will have the rim joists insulated in the basement and the basement windows insulated around the edges which had not been done. We thank you and your staff at ecoHeat for your professional presentation, knowledgeable information and professional installation.     Another Happy Customer

    Our home built in 2009, despite being very well insulated and new has never been warm due to its open concept lay out and electric baseboard heaters. This past October, we decided to make the investment into our home installing a two unit Daikin Heat Pump. Eco Heat was a pleasure to work with. The install was timely and they provided ongoing support with questions we had related to the product. We have saved over $400 dollars on our power bill (October - December) and we expect to save a significant amount through the winter months. Our home is finally a warmer temperature, in fact there have been times we have had to turn the temperature down. In fact, we have not had to turn on our baseboards heaters at all the past few months. Our floors feel warmer, and when our children play in the basement we are no longer worried that they might need to bundle up in warmer sweaters and slippers. Robyn and Steven Losier K.V.
