Saint John Volkswagen

My boyfriend and I were at Volkswagen in Saint John recently. It was NOT a good experience. Although the sales rep was fine, there was a worker who I think was on his break. (We heard other employees referring to him as Tim). The entire time we were there, this individual loudly commented to other employees about his "explosive diarrhea". Normally, I would just laugh it off but it got really graphic and descriptive. To make it even worse, he was audibly farting the whole time. GROSS.

Had my car in for...

Had my car in for an MVI, was told that I needed to replace both front rotors. Took it to another mechanic for a second opinion, they said rotors were perfect. A third independent mechanic also said rotors were fine, and showed me the NB MVI specs, which mine easily met. Took the issue up with VW, and they refused to correct the matter. It appears that the dealership uses the MVI process to demand unneeded work to be done.

Fail to keep their word.

I leased a car from Saint John Volkswagen, impressed that the sales guy said it only needed an oil change every 12 months. Then in 6 months I got a call from the dealership looking to book my 6-month oil change. I made a service appoint 9 am, but when I arrived they couldn't get it in until noon. Another time, they booked me in for an all-day appointment but didn't start working in time to finish by supper. I've found this business very unreliable.
