    Fantastic place

    I have tried many sushi places and I keep coming back to Mito. The sushi is good and the staff very friendly. It is a small place in a small town so don't go looking for a palace but outside of that this place is a gem with great food.

    Worst Customer Service

    I cant even begin to believe the service i received today. I paid my money to go to the all you can eat lunch except i had to ask several times for another paper. The food took like 20 minutes to come to the table and was freezing when it got there. I believe I should leave full from an all you can eat lunch not come home and eat again. It was not worth the money I spent and the service was disgusting. I was practically paying them to ignore me and stand behind the counter and talk while i was waiting for a new paper. Don't call it all you can eat if you ignore your customer. Its called service with a smile not service with a scowl.

    AVOID IF YOU LIKE RAW SUSHI

    Stay away from this place if you are a sushi lover. There quality of fish is horrible. There yellowtail tuna isn't the purple sushi grade tuna that you get at every sushi place. They charge you for sushi grade fish but give you stuff that cost pennies to buy. There spicy tuna and salmon rolls have little to no raw fish, its all rice and tempura bits. I have ordered here twice now and will never again. If you want really good sushi with sushi grade tuna, check out Shogun restaurant in Whitby, our office orders from there once a week. Excellent stuff

    What a find!!!!!!!!!!!

    I was simply delighted to find this place.A friend and I visited last Friday for the first time, I from Cobourg and she from Whitby. The second we sat down we were served green tea. I love Sushi, but am not used to ordering it for myself.Our knowledgeable waitress suggested a variety of tempura and sushi.We ate every scrap.Food came quickly and was delicious.It was excellent value for the money..I ordered a Supporo-large size delivered to my table without my asking.Much appreciated. I will definitely return again-and so willl my friend. Marg

    I love this place. The people there are really nice and friendly, and i love the food. The best part was the seaweed salad in my opinion. I will be coming back sometime soon.

    Great Value

    Always very fresh and flavourful. Service is friendly, with the venue small but clean. All you can eat is the way to go. I have never had a bad meal here, and have ordered takeout Bento Boxs from time to time. Only, complaint would be that time I was there they changed the beef they used in the tekyaki. The change was NOT a good one, and hope it was only a temporary change. The spicy tuna sushi is awesome !!!!!! One thing that would be nice as an improvement is to add some Korean dishes.

    This is how I fell in love... with sushi!

    The chefs at Mito Sushi are really friendly and welcoming. The ladies are straightforward, which I really appreciate! I have had delivery, I've picked food up, and I've sat in for lunch. Not one bad thing to say! Their food is delicious, their service is quick, and even though they're in a tight little spot, their decor is charming! Highly recommended! If only I had extra thumbs to stick up! :-)

    A Hidden Gem

    Great little sushi place. Worth the drive to Bowmanville. They are a small family run sushi house that has great food, one of the best I have tried. There is nothing fancy just good food at very reasonable prices. Nothing tops it in the Bowmanville area.

    I cannot say enough good things about this place. My family comes here at least once a week. The food is amazing considering it's an all you can eat place. The only problem is that when they get busy, orders can take 20 minutes between courses. They also need different music. It is just one CD on repeat all the time. They make up for it with friendly service and fantastic food. It's walking distance from my house and is by far the best sushi I've ever eaten. You would never expect this kind of quality from a place in a mall. It makes it even more fabulous.

    Diamond in the rough....

    This place is a diamond in the rough. I have been to a number of sushi places in North America, Europe and even Asia and this places rates amongst one of the ones I like. It also helps that it is in my backyard. Every time I go, the food stays consistently good and everyone that I have taken here has loved the place. The all you can eat is more than ample to satisfy anyone. I usually do not like eating at all you can eat sushi places, but, this is one place I would go for all you can eat. Most of the time I order what I like in both sushi and Japanese cuisine. If you are in the neighborhood give it a try.
