Excellent food- we had a server named Sherri and she was upbeat and knew the menu- she gave great recommendations. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!!
My wife and I went for dinner. I had asked about the steaks, if they are soaked in a marinade or tenderizer, she assured me thet are not. I then ordered the steak sandwich and my wife had a salad. When the meals arrived the steak was pumped full of a brine tenderizer mix. You can clearly taste it in the steak. I had decided to send it back, she asked about the fries, I had said they are good so she left them for me to finish. My wife asked for extra dressing for the salad, more than five minutes later the bartender/waitress finally arrived with the dressing. It was obvious she forgot. At this point the manager was over and took both the steak sandwich and the salad from the bill. When the bill did arrive there was a charge for a side order of fries that came with the steak dinner. I guess the manager figured if I liked them that I should pay. Maybe he considers fries for dinner a meal. This place is lacking in many areas
Occasionally the folks at work want to do a social outing, and to avoid offending someone by going somewhere with non-traditional canadian/american cuisine, Caseys fits the bill. The menu is full of the items you would expect in a restaurant chain: lots of average, unenticing meal options to ensure everyone leaves 'satisfied'. The service is acceptable although the wait times for food are often relatively long (suitable, I guess, for larger groups). Pricing is adequate but maybe a dollar or two high for most items, given the portions. The portions are comparatively small to other restaurants in the immediate area, and the decor is, you guessed it, chain-restaurant typical.
Dine in recommended. Quick and consistent. Take out was not as good. Great service from the manager Melissa. I like their chicken fingers as well.
I went in here for lunch takeout. I originally wanted just a caesar salad but the waitress told me the chicken was nicely grilled so I decided to get chicken on it. I made the mistake of not checking things out before I left the store. When I got back to work I found that half the romaine leaves were brown and had to be thrown out. But the part that angered me the most was the fact that the chicken was not cooked through! It was still raw in the middle! I too had to throw this out. I debated whether or not to call and complain but I doubed that they would actually do anything to fix it. In anycase, the bar table (where you have to order for take out) was just cleaned but the water on the hardwood made it sticky, kind of gross. I will not be returning, and its a shame as I work just down the street. This restaurant is a serious dissapointment. I should have read the reviews and looked at the rating before going here.
This restaurant is amazing! the food is great and the service was amazing! Our waitress made everything so great while we were there, she was very bubbly and very attentive. My husband and I had a great experience, food was very tasty. We WILL be returning.
what a wonderful restaurant! the service was great, very friendly and helpful. the food was a good portion size as well, fast service, it was up in no time.
My first visit the meal was actually pretty good, although there were way too many green onions in the taco salad. The problem came at the end of the meal when the server came back to my uncle and said "this is all you left me" and handed the bill back to him. He put down another $10 and then she never came back with the change, even with us sitting there and me starring at her. There is no way she deserved more then a 10% tip (didn't refill drinks, clear plates, etc) which is what she received first, let alone another $10 on top of that! I was furious and called the manager when I got home, and the manager promised to send me gift certificates so I could give them to my uncle, and those never came either! Very poor service and poor management style! Decided to try the restuarant again a few weeks ago and this time the food was horrible as well as the service. Our Nacho's were so coated in salsa that the chips were soggy and we only ate half. The server didn't even ask us if everything was okay, or refill our drinks. Our meals came out, my taco salad bowl was dark brown and over cooked, the stirfrys basically only had noodles & Sauce, and my friend had NOTHING good to say about the ribs - cold, too much sauce, etc etc. I will never return to this restaurant!
My husband and daughter took me out for my birthday dinner the day before my birthday as my husband had to work the day of - he informed the waitress of my birthday and was told that they do not to anything for birthdays unless they are on the actual date. This was somewhat disappointing - not only for me (hey a birthday is a birthday) but my daughter who was excited about taking me out for my birthday and waiting for "them" to come out and sing Happy birthday like most restaurants do - however the waitress did not tell us this and just brought the bill - she didn't even wish me a Happy Birthday and in my opinion was not the most friendliest. And when my daughter ran out of sour cream, we had to pay an additional 99 cents for more sour cream. For over $50- you'd think you could throw in a little second helping of sour cream. Don't think we'll be visiting Casey's any time in the near future again.
Club Sandwich was made with paper thin, tasteless lunch meat. The ribs were very disappointing and not much taste. They were hardly grilled. The fries were cold. Perhaps the cook wanted to go for a cigarette break? I have been to several Casey Restaurants and this is by far the poorest quality! The waitress was bubbly, perhaps a bit too much and just laughed off any criticism of the food.
Great place to go. My friends and i go at least twice a week. Food is always good, the new menu is excellent, the desserts are wonderful. The staff is always so welcoming, and treat us great. Go try it out!!!!!
We had never been to Caseys before. I heard that on your birthday you get $10.00 off your meal. We only went to this restaurant as it was my husbands birthday. When I made reservations I told them that it was for a birthday, they made no comment. Then when the waitress was going to be bringing us our cheque I told her that it was my husbands birthday. She just looked at us and said "Uh..happy birthday" When she brought the bill she had wrote happy birthday there was nothing taken off of our bill. Even when the manager was consulted they told us that they didn't do that. Later when I made a phone call to the restaurant they said that they had a meeting and decided that they would give you $15.00 off. I said that that doesn't help, they decided this 1 day after we had been there. I said that we would not be returning. They had told us we could come back and they would give the money off. I told them that I didn't want to return to spend another $50.00 on another meal. We will not be returning.
waited to be served our drinks after being seated for 10 minutes.We were only served because we asked to be by the bartender (who was cutting limes). We ordered appetizers and we received them at different times, and i had to ask for mine once my date was
We went for dinner this past Sunday. I can say that our server was very attentive with the exception of when he came to check on our meal, he might have noticed that we had taken the meat out of our hamburger as it was charcoal. My daughter couldnt eat hers and it was rock hard as well. My husband couldnt even try it. I will not return. Over priced hockey pucks is the only wa to describe it. Was supposed to be a nice dinner. Ha ya right.
We stood at the door for about 6 minutes. Several wait staff walked by without even acknowledging us. Finally someone noticed us and said they would get a table for us right away.. The girl never returned. Once we were seated our drink order was taken right away. It took about another 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive. We could see all the staff gathering and talking but no one actually doing their job. It was a horrible experience and a waste of an afternoon!
My husband and I went for lunch and arrived at 11:55 am. We ordered water with lemon and were served that very quickly. We then ordered right away as we wanted to beat the lunch rush. I ordered their taco salad and my husband ordered their Lebanese chicken. After waiting for 30 minutes and noticing that other tables were being served that arrived after us, we asked our waitress where our food was. She came back and told us it would only be a few minutes longer. At 12:45, we told her we had a 1:00 appointment and had to go. She said that our food was up and that she would go get it. At 12:55 we got up and left with only having water.
Horrible! The first visit was on fathers day of 2004. The appitizers we got were cold. Without getting an appology, they just gave us new appitizers and didnt even offer them free of charge. I complained about it because it was not busy in there at all a
Food was cold, Restaurant was cold, Service was.... thats right... COLD! You would think a chain like Casey's would do something about one of its franchisee's that is bringing its good name down... but I guess not. :(

Disgustingly small portions for the cost. Over cooked food, including burnt pasta. Must have been overcooked in oven, but pasta was black and chared around edges. When we told the server what was wrong with the food she said "oh sorry" and just walked away. Very unhappy and will never return!
