Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill

I have been here three times. The service is horrible. The tables need to be resurfaced, as the surface is peeling off. One time I was seated at a table that hadn't been cleared, and nobody came to wipe if off, after 20 minutes. It was absurd. The food is good though. If you want to go to Crabby Joes in London, go to the downtown location, or highbury/dundas. The service is much much better.

Where to start? We were told when we arrived that we had to sit on the bar side, and weren't given the option to wait for a table in the dining room. One of the people at our table received the wrong meal. Three of us ordered pasta dishes, two were not-so-good and the other one was horrible tasting. The chicken was dry and tasted like it had been sitting around for a long time. We weren't offered refills on our drinks. We had to flag down the server after waiting for over ten minutes for our bill. We were very disappointed with the service and the food. We won't be visiting again.

We went there on the long weekend. The food was very good and the price was great. Service was very fast and the server checked in regulary. The steak was done perfectly and the fajitas were very tasty. The drinks were nice and spicy, just liked we asked for.

The food (specially the steak) in the price what I paid was excellent, enjoyed the Greek salad and the desert was nice too, I am from Mississauga and often go to London, I already went there 3 time in my recent trips and have tried couple of other things, they have a great menu. Well over all this place is really good and had a cozy atmosphere and for sure Ill go back there again. I might not take any risk for spoiling my lunch or dinner anywhere else.

I really felt like we were putting the hostess and waitress out just by being there. The hostess barely said 2 words to us, put the menus on the table and walked away. Lovely. The waitress clearly hates her job or life or whatever. The atmosphere was O.K. I could have even overlooked these things if the food was a least half decent. The "pound" of wings was 9 wings. Tiny, tasteless wings. With celery. No carrots-nothing. I guess there was a vegetable ration that day. The soup,my son says, was O.K. The clubhouse sandwiches were barely toasted as was indicated on the menu. When we asked for mayo my husband and I were each given ONE tiny packet of Hellman's. We asked for more from 2 different people but none ever came. I guess there was a mayo ration that day too. The nachos were comical. Hardly any topppings. Maybe a teaspoon of some mushy meat substance, a few tomatoes and a light speckling of cheese. For $10. What a cash grab. I'd like to blame it on them being busy, but sadly that was not the case. As we left we got the old "see ya" from our waitress, because "come again" or "have a nice day" is just too taxing to say. Crabby Joe's should not warn its patrons of its "bad temper" as there are numerous bad things to be wary of here.

After I sat down I waited 20 minutes for my drink, my T-bone arrived an hour after I ordered it and (of all things) was under cooked! I asked for well done and it showed up rare! (Red throughout, bloody, with the outside just slightly greyed). After it was served it took 15 minutes for me to get the waitresses attention. By that time I had been there for 1hr 45min and was not going to wait another hour for them to cook it properly. I paid for the coke and the garlic bread (which was good, by way too garlicy) and left starving. With so many restaurants downtown, there is no point in putting up with bad food & slow service.

We were staying at the hotel in the next parking lot so we thought it was convenient to walk to. Thank god because we ate so much we needed the walk. Excellent food. Reasonable prices, large servings and the waiter was friendly. Would definately return the next time we are in town.

ordered a martini and when it arrived it wasn't what i expected - it arrived in a martini glass and had more ice than martini - ice in martini's ?????? otherwise food was pretty good - i would go back again

1/2 Price appetizers after 9pm! Great deal! Food is good, nice bar, lot's of big screen tv's.... lots of draft beer available. I recommend the Shrimp Scampi... kinda pricey but it's delicious!
