The WORST Chinese food I have eaten in a long time! the general tao chicken, which is usually my favourite, had an odour and was the worst general tao chicken I have ever had!!!!!!! The taste was completely off and just tasted old/musty. After a few bites of each I threw my food in the garbage. My husband finished his, but then we threw the remainder out as well--waste of money. I do not usually write bad reviews, but dont waste your time with Empire Wok, go somewhere else.

This was god awful, my boyfriend and I got home and tried to eat it and we just couldn't. I'm so dissappointed ... They should be shut down. Nobody should ever ever eat here.

I thought I would try some take out at the...

I thought I would try some take out at the clarkson location and was very dissapointed. The service I received was anything but friendly, the staff should really learn how to smile. When I asked a question about the menu, the gentlemen behind the counter acted as I had inconvenienced him. What starts bad ends bad I always say. The food was greasy and unappealing. The pork was just heavily breaded with a spoonful of cheap sweet and sour sauce. What happened to the sauteed onions and peppers in sweet and sour pork. The rice was oily and kind of burnt. I don't think there is any exuse for bad food anywhere. Just because something is inexpensive dosen't mean it can't be fresh. In conclusion it was a dissapointing experience .

This place has the worst customer service ever! I...

This place has the worst customer service ever! I had ordered a vegetarian combo and found some chicken pieces in my fired rice, when i confronted the guy at the front, he said my boyfriend put his chicken pieces in my plate, this was a ridiculous accusation that i have never heard before. He said he was the owner, but i would really like to find out who is above him in order to complain.I'm so livid that nothing was done about this. Worst customer service ever.

I have been there many times. I always say that I will never go back, but I always do. Service: You feel like you are asking for a favor when you order your food. Food: Food is pretty good if you are craving Chinese "chicken". Price: Is unbeatable. You get a pretty big portion with drink for 6 bucks.

If I could give an overall rating of less than...

If I could give an overall rating of less than 1 I would. This restaurant is horrible!! The food is vile. If it weren't for the over abundant use of garlic, there would be no taste except for the occasional burnt flavours of the dishes. The service or lack thereof is laughable. The young girl behind the counter is more interested in reading her magazine than acknowledging your presence. A gentleman who was there at the same time as myself, had to ask for his change back (approx $10) because the girl didn't seem to remember. I WOULD NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!
