Sundance Spa Newmarket fails to install pool
Sundance Spas is the worst possible contractor for installing a swimming pool, yet we did not know it when Arnold Vos approached us. Our decision to employ the services of Arnold Vos, the owner of Sundance Spas (Newmarket) and LEEK DETECTION GTA, turned for us a disaster. Besides the ordeal of living on a construction site almost the entire summer we had a great misfortune to have business with Suncance owner, Arnold Vos. On several occasions Arnold Vos was dishonest. He charged extra money for the pool to be shipped alone. Yet it was shipped together with another pool with a several weeks delay. By mistake, both pools arrived to our location first. Arnold Vos refused to reimburse us. The crew was unprofessional. Not only did they fail to install the pool, they also broke it. When they broke the pool they withheld this information. We found out about it only by chance from the specialist who came to repair it. The temporary repair turned out to be permanent. They put a wrong colour gel to patch the pool and did not tell us. Only when we noticed it and challenged them they ordered the right gel. They did not re-patch the pool to this day. There were numerous and continuous issues which the crew could not handle, yet Arnold Vos was continuously unavailable to supervise the installation. Not even once did he visit the site during the installation! His crew was on the site for 3 months. Yet they did not even accomplished their job. While failing to install the pool, they did not reimburse the money and refused to provide any warranty for their installation work or otherwise. We were supposed to receive a lifetime warranty for the pool and a 5-year warranty on the installation, pool and related work, yet we did not. Nor did they apologize. We would not recommend this contractor to anyone!
