The steaks were really good, as was the pasta...

The steaks were really good, as was the pasta. The salad bar didn't have much there. The biggest problem was the waitress - it was like she was rushing us out of there - she tried to take plates away before we were finished and stared at us when we asked for more water. The bread was the first to disappear! We didn't bother staying for dessert.

To begin, the salad bar was terrible, the waitress didn't know the difference between a cream soup or a water based soup, and the rest of the food no matter what was ordered (chicken or steak) was soaking in oil and butter....it was all bad....don't eat there!

The service was abhorrent, especially since they...

The service was abhorrent, especially since they are right downtown and most of their lunch clientel would be on lunch break from work. The restaurant wasn't even busy! My pasta could not have rivalled Lipton Sidekicks and it was really watery. The only edible thing on my mom's plate were the french fries. We suspect the meat on her sandwich had been re-heated. We waited 45 minutes for our bill and the staff were all standing around socializing--very frustrating. Normally I am not one for leaving bad reviews, but I was shocked and apaulled to see that the only other reviewer was actually pleased with this dive (perhaps it has gone downhill?).

AWSOME RESTaURANT...excellent service..cheap food..steak for only 14.95 with all you can eat salad bar what can you go wrong with this. kinda weird that they have a scotish bar in an "italian" restaurant i guess for a change or something. Food is really good.
