This Home Hardwear is the only name in the game here in Port Hope so I find their prices to be higher than average and some of the staff to be rude with a know it all attitude, especially those at the mid store “customer service desk”. Now I do find that the folks at the ladies in the paint department are always willing to help. I most often drive 12 or 35km to another town to get what I need when I can. Don’t ever go last minute before closing, as the level of service is very poor, and rushed

Horrible place to deal with. Will never buy anything from there again. It use to be my go to store for everything but their customer service is below par and where there is an issue they completely shut down and ignore you and do not deal with the issue or resolve in a quick timely manner so that the customer is not inconvenienced. I plan on shopping elsewhere from now on.
