After reading the 2 bad reviews I had to weigh in. The team that moved furniture from the house to a storage unit in July 2020 were great. It was no small feat getting the items packed into the storage unit and they were patient and helpful. They were all pleasant and friendly. The cost was very reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this team again.

they were prompt, extremely careful, polite and friendly. They gave us a competitive quote and when the job was finished the bill was actually LESS. Very happy!

As with another reviewer, I did most of the moving myself. They came ill prepared to move a townhouse into a larger home. We had to make several trips in our own car, and were forced to ask our neighbours to store some of our furniture in their garages until we could come back. To add insult to injury, they damaged two pieces of furniture during the move and have thus far made no effort to repair or replace the furniture in spite of several phone calls made asking the company to do so.

Beware!!! For less than 15 min of work for replacing ABS elbow, charged over $500!!! The worst part of the service though was mumbling and writing a very much misleading cost of work, which looked and sounded like below $50.

My mother asked me to write this for her. She was moving to an apartment after downsizing and selling her home. Mom is almost 80 years old & pretty independent. She took care of all the details for the move herself and hired J&S. The most important item during the move was her dear piano. I was working moving day and not able to keep an eye on the hired help. This company treated her with respect and completed the job beyond her expectations and the piano was safe. Mom is very pleased with J&S!

Never hire these guys

We hired these guys to move us....move was less then 20 minutes apart. They had to move 2 homes combining into one....so we expected the move to take a bit longer then when I moved on my own. Well...they showed up with 2 guys rather then the 3 they promised; they brought a truck that was too small; they stood around (smoking and talking on their phone) while WE loaded most of the furniture into their truck. I made 7 (yes seven) trips back and forth with my own vehicle....and it took them 11 hours!!!!! Eleven hours to move a small apartment and a 3 bedroom house with NO appliances. My kids and I moved the 3 bedroom house 3 yrs ago in under 6 hours and we're not supposed professionals. I will NEVER use this company again and suggest you don't either!!!
