Heather Wilgar was teaching yoga and waiting for inspiration to strike. Then one day, the owners of Moksha Thornhill asked if she’d be interested in opening a massage clinic inside their studio. She jumped on the idea, but decided she wanted to incorporate more to it. As a registered nutritionist and former entrepreneur in the health and wellness field, who had already began two successful businesses that promote health and well being, Heather wanted this next venture to be able to do the same. “I took the original idea and made it more of an a place to nourish yourself from the inside out, taking care of yourself all the way around,” she explains.

Heather also wanted to give something to the community that she felt was lacking, a place to go for both yoga and a full spa experience for the mind and the body. That’s how she came up with the concept of OM Spa. She created a full-service spa with everything from nails to RMT massages to microdermabrasion to hair removal.
