    Horrible customer service

    We went to this store to purchase nursery furniture (after looking at many others) because of their competitive prices. I would have paid the extra money for some decent service. Considering the amount of money that I was spending there ($x,xxx) you would think that the sales people would have been more helpful and curtious. There was no interest in coming to help answer questions - I had to go to them to ask for help. When my furniture was finally ready to be picked up, Mark (the owner) was very rude to me over the phone when I just had some simple questions about the dimensions of the items and wanted to pay the balance. After he took my card number over the phone, he just hung up! BE NICER TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!! I'll never go back to this store again and hope everyone else reads this review before going there.

    absolutely terrible customer service.

    Despite being a local family run business, the baby shack has terrible customer service. I had visited the store multiple times during my pregnancy and every time I was there I felt as if I was inconveniencing the staff. In fact the blonde girl that was always there treated us as if we were disrupting her day, and god forbid you have a question!!! I have returned to the store since the birth of my son, hoping that maybe It was my hormones that made my experience so unpleasant, WRONG!!!!!! still RUDE, still HORRIBLE service and unfortunately the same MISERABLE girl behind the counter. I would pay double the price just to avoid that store. Trish

    Horrible Customer Service

    I'm expecting and I have been in this store three times now looking at baby items (and will NOT return). All 3 occasions the older man who works at the store has been arguing with customers. The customer service in the store is HORRIBLE. They don't care one bit if they make a sale. All the staff are rude and act as if you have inconvenienced them by asking questions. My mother was with me the third time to look at a crib and was appalled by the service and will not be returning to buy any items, we will go elsewhere!

    Only after the sale and no after service.

    We purchased our baby furniture from Baby Shack because their price is very competitive. We discovered there are defects upon receiving them. We contacted the store and they completely ignoring our request and being rude. We contacted the manufacture about the defect but they can't do anything because it has to go through the store. We contacted the store again and they had such a bad attitude and not offering any help or remedy. If you buy big items like furniture, don't go to them because they don't offer any services after making the sale.

    Local whitby baby & kids store with great products

    This family-oriented store has a great selection of products. We have purchased all of our our car-seats here. Love it because it's local, it carries great products (including eco friendly) and occasionally runs some tax-free sales.
