    I ordered a folia...

    I ordered a folia cake with strawberries. It was $37 and it came with no strawberries. Very disappointing. I called to advise Nino and really got nothing. If I could add a picture I would show you hit bland the cake was. Oh well. I will never order a cake from there again. No customer service all.

    This is one great...

    This is one great bakery! The breads are wonderful, especially the french bread & buns. Pastries are great. I love the rum babas & birthday cakes. But, most of all I love the veal sandwiches at Nino D’Aversa. We have been going to Nino D’Aversa Bakery for years and years. Oh, and check out their ice cream Gelato in Italian. Say, 'Hi!', to Mauro & Sebastian for me, will ya. I have photos, so I will upload a few. I hope o

    This is one great bakery! The breads are wonderful, especially the french bread & buns. Pastries are great. I love the rum babas & birthday cakes. But, most of all I love the veal sandwiches at Nino D’Aversa. We have been going to Nino D’Aversa Bakery for years and years. Oh, and check out their ice cream Gelato in Italian. Say, 'Hi!', to Mauro & Sebastian for me, will ya. I have photos, so I will upload a few. I hope you find this review helpful. I like the Woodbridge location best. When I fly or drive past Toronto, I always stay a few nights just to go to the Nino D’Aversa Bakery in Woodbridge. Oh, the Mauro coffee is very tasty too, and they serve the best cup of cappcino too! Mmmm! I did work for a number of years in Woodbridge, but now live in Nova Scotia. [The photo of the art work is on the side of Home Hardware, Willow St. Truro, NS where I was born.] I sure do miss Woodbridge's NINO D'AVERSA BAKERY! They have 2 other locations too (1 Toro Rd, Downsview (1.416.638.3271) & 72 Steele Ave. W, Thornhill, (1.905.881.7393), both in Ontario Eleanor Bridges (2009 July Photos)
