I've been a casual of this family-run restaurant in college and ossington for about 3 years now. As the years have went by, my visits have become more and more frequent due to their quality of service. They have the best donairs i have ever tried! the meat is full of flavour and just the right spice. i specifically enjoy their health-minded mentality. All their products are fresh and made right as you order. If you have room in your stomach after a donair take a slice of baklava. The baklava is amazing! its worth the calories! Lire plus

" I have been going to this Restaurant since i was young and i remember even back then, the service & food were always Excellent, Good Quality & Friendly Atomosphere, i'm glad it hasn't chanegd much except the name it used to be called the Sunrise I used to live in the Area, i wish could move back cause i love it lol, and Everytime i go to this restaurant i order the Chicken Soulvaki Dinner it is the Best i've ever tasted. Lion on the Beach is great place to relax, drink and eat. The food to date has always been delicious and scores high points in presentation and originality. While it is the disguise as regular pub fare, it would appear to be more tantilizing than one would have expected. The atmosphere is soothing and fun much like the rest of the beaches. The services can be a bit irradict due to overflow of customers but has always been exceptional. The one draw back on the services comes from one particular bartender who has forced me to go on painkillers due to making me smile so hard that my face hurts. Cheers Lire plus

After Peel Pub sank beneath the waves, me and my buddies had to find a new pub to enjoy. We tried a lot of places out downtown until we found this one. Scotland Yard is pretty awesome. It isn't pretentious or overpriced. It has solid, good pub food and pretty much everything you want to wash it down with. A great place to load up your stomach before a night of partying and dancing. The style is Olde English, but the menu has a good mix of Canadian food too. Chairs and Tables are old world but they are in good shape. Lack of parking is a problem, so if you are on foot this is a much better option. Also, waitresses do have a habit of disappearing, largely because the bar is U-shaped, but my cup has never truly run dry. They take pretty good care of there customers, and I always feel like I get my money's worth. The place can get a little bit rowdy with the mix of locals and tourists, but I've never felt disturbed by the clientale. A pretty fun pub. Get your eats and start your crawl. Lire plus

We have visited Watermark several times, and unlike most of the posters have never had a problem. Except. they should ban smoking on the patio, although that might be a city bylaw. Our recent visit was a busy, sunny Sunday at around noon. We were told it would be about 10 minutes to be seated, actually it turn out to be around 5 minutes. After being seated our waitress showed up in good time and asked for our drink order, she showed up quickly with our drinks and took our food order. She said the kitchen was quite busy and our order might take a little longer than usual. We asked about appetizers that might hold us to the food arrived and she said they really don't serve them. Imagine our surprise when showed up a little while later with a plate of mini muffins for us, and then, refilled the plate. I know it's not much.....but it was something. And actually, it didn't seem like too long till our food arrived. The only complaint was from my daughter....kids.....who said, and this well be somewhat odd, her tacos had too much topping on them, and that the meat sauce made the tortilla chips "soggy". She may right on "soggy" bit, but she likes the chips most of all :-) . It was a good lunch, and everyone enjoyed their meal, although the accompanying salads with sandwiches were on the small side. Chicken club was made with a chicken breast, and lobster clubs had plenty of filling. If I have a different experience, I'll post it. Lire plus

Someone in the neighbourhood recommended this place otherwise I would not have thought of going there as I thought it was 'just a bar' with basic bar/pub food. Boy, was I wrong.
