Being a resident of Toronto for most of my life, I could not wait to visit the island of Newfoundland and take in its natural beauty. I did not want to go the regular tourist route so my husband and I chose to take a tour of the rural outports. The entire isle is wonderful but I fell in love with an area known as the coast of bays. I have travelled to many places, but no picture or review can do the scenery justice. We stayed at quite a few places, and although all of the people were beyond kind and courteous; Yarn's Inn B&B was brilliant. It is a reconstructed merchant home from the edwardian period. The home and antiques are gorgeous. Each bedroom has a washroom and the owners do not live in the home which allowed us privacy. The business was only a year off the ground when we visited, so I am sure there have been extras added, but this place was 100% the gold standard out of all the accommodations. Cannot wait to return for some R&R in that beautiful B&B.
