The moment you walk through the door the wonderful smell of cedar and their friendly staff greet you. Just the most amazing bird store!! I’ve learned SO MUCH over the years about our local birds from the amazing owner Colin! They always answer my e mail or phone queries promptly and carry quality seeds and related products. It’s the highlight of our Nanaimo shopping trip!

The staff are friendly, very knowledgeable about what birds are resident in Vancouver and when and more importantly what you need to put out to attract them to your yard. In addition, they offer an outstanding selection of every type of feeder you can imagine from a simple window ledge feeder through to a birds' version of an all you can eat buffet. But the products don't stop at feed and feeders. They also offer field guides, nature themed gifts, binoculars and all sorts of other products to appeal to the wild bird enthusiast in you. Even better...if you get really serious about feeding the birds in your backyard, like we have, you can stock up when the seed is on sale! By purchasing multiple bags they will keep a record of your purchase and let you come in and pick up a bag here and a bag there as you need it.
