I highly recommend Kipps Lane Fish n Chips! I was hard pressed to find a classic fish n chip joint such as I had adored as a teen in Toronto in the mid 1970s. A true, halibut fish, hand filleted with the classic, puffed up batter and golden fries is a rare treat to still find these days especially from a family owned and operated restaurant who are so friendly and who take pride in what they serve you. I have lived in Welland for over 30 years and have never eaten here until they mentioned "Buffalo Chicken Burger" on their advertising sign out front. So we decided to stop in and try it, I must say, it is a great burger and possibly the best in the entire Niagara Region, it is reasonably priced with perfect golden fries but no one else makes a Buffalo Chicken Burger like Cheers does. I just tried the chicken souvlaki wrap that comes with greek salad and fries. It was all awesome, the fries, great greek salad and the chicken wrap was aaaamazing. Great sauce on it with a nice seasoning on the chicken. In Timmins there aren't many places that are different from other cities like McDonald's, but the Fishbowl's food is a must try!! Especially their burger!!! We also had their calamari and stuffed mushroom entree and it is the real calamari not the fake rings you get at other places.... The food is fantastic!! If you want something different and not like a fast food joint then this is the place to go. I bring friends and family from out of town to eat there :) If you go ....... enjoy your meal!
