Milestones on Brant Street is one of the best restaurants, never mind JUST Milestones that I have been too. The food is amazing, Alex and John are the managers and they clearly have their pHDs on how to run this business. I've hosted all kinds of events at Koosh: from retirement lunches to important dinners and so on. They are flexible and can cater to all kinds of needs. Otherwise, I go often with my family and have never been disappointed. The wine list is extensive, food is noticeably fresh and the wait staff is lovely. The Robert Simpson beers are delicious, too. I'll typically order the grilled pork tenderloin but I'm also a fan of the veal gorgonzola, veal marsala and lamb shank. For lunch, the pasta or pizza specials are also quite good. If find yourself there on a weekend morning, the pancake is thick and meaty and quite unlike anything I've ever had. A great gem in a quiet and decrepit part of town. Bean bar and Bistro 1010 haven't been the same since Koosh opened. Lire plus

Went here for lunch but will not be back. I must say the food here is very good. Unfortunately the Service Manager or Waiter is very pushy and will invite himself into your conversations. He invited himself to sample our food (which we declined), he kept trying to hit on us, and stood over us until we ordered. In addition, there were 4 gentlemen just standing around the bar looking around the whole time. It was annoying. I am Italian and have been to many great Italian restaurants, but this is not one of them. It has great potential, great decor and great food but lacks in customer service. Best rib steak ever. Cooked to perfection, but what do you expect at $55 a pop?Allover a good experience. Asked the waiter what was meant by filet-mignon on the bone? He mumbled ( as you should when in doubt) and I never got an intelligent answer. There's tenderloin on the menu as wll and then filet mignon which is tenderloin as well.I spent 50+years in the meat biz, removed thousands of tenderloins but never heard of 'on the bone'...a mystery! Bit of a boring spring menu but anxious to go back and see what they create for summer. Close to Niagara region and lots of wonderful fresh produce and farm products. The Milestones franchise has always had an excellent atmosphere and better than average food. The meals are a tad pricey but you get what you pay for. I wanted to make a quick note about the Asian sesame chicken appetizer. It was the best chicken app. I've had in my entire life. Absolutely fantastic taste! Service did a great job as well.
