    I was with Hopestreet as a home owner. The tenant notified them that the fridge had damages, and the Hopestreet manger went and charged me $149.63 to check if the fridge was really broken. There were also a few small damages with the wires and billed me $68.25 for taking some pictures and emailing me. Those damages could be fixed by any handy man, I even got it fixed for free since they were so small. I believe that it should have been apart of their 90 day inspection policy. The tenant had not

    By far the worst property management company I have ever rented from. Anyone considering renting from this company should think twice. Make sure that you know your rights as a renter, have everything in writing. Have more than one person with you when you do the walk through as a witness. Keep all emails and document all phone calls, text messages, and pictures and any discussions to make sure you don't get ripped off with your damage deposit. They never return damage deposits.

    Do not hire this company

    July 1, 2015 Hope Street did not provide the tenant with the condo bylaws as per NUMEROUS emails, letter mail and forms indicating as such. I also asked them numerous time to purchase additional keys this was not completed as I had to buy additional keys for my new property manager in August 2016. August 18, 2015 the tenants made an unauthorised HVAC service call b/c Hope Street did not show them how to work the thermostat when they moved in.     Stay away

    Very poor communication, over charges, disrepair of the property. In the end they charged a great deal of money for maintenance, but the property was in far worse shape they when took over management. They refused to address any concerns.
