In 2010, I was desperate for a good mechanic. I was a student & had no money. Jorge did an EXTENSIVE amount of work for a 1/3 of the cost, saying,"I feel sorry for you, & I know you'll spread my name to everyone." Jorge has been my mechanic ever since. He’s ALWAYS fair & ALWAYS truthful. If something isn’t necessary, he’s not pushy or aggressive. Safety is his #1 concern. Jorge is the most trustworthy, fair mechanic I’ve ever come across. I strongly recommend Jorge to all my friends & family.

Excellent and honest service

When I moved to Calgary last year I needed a reliable mechanic to do the check on my Quebec car, and read excellent reviews of Jorge's service. I was not disappointed. He did the work very carefully, explained what needed to be done and what didn't, and exactly how much it would cost. The car needed to be left for a day, so he personally drove me to the car rental place nearby. He was really pleasant to chat with, and it was clear he loves his work, and takes pride in offering excellent, honest service. My only criticism is that the shop is not open on Saturdays, making it difficult to schedule regular service appointments. Jorge is located across the city near Chinook Shopping Mall, but it's worth it to me to have a mechanic who does not talk down to me because I am a woman. Amusing story: I had some work done on the car, collected it at the end of the day, and was driving home in the snow. Suddenly the car behind starts flashing his lights, and the care beside me rolls down his window and shouts, "Your car is on fire!" I pulled over onto the snowy shoulder, cars whizzing by, but the fellow behind also stopped, ran up to me and panted, "My god, there were flames shooting out from under your car!" Couldn't see anything, but called Jorge, who had been about to close up shop and go home, and he told me to turn 'round and bring the car back. Gingerly did so (no sign of trouble) and Jorge checked everything out thoroughly. Finally said, "It doesn't happen often, but I think maybe a plastic bag got stuck to your undercarriage, and caught fire!" He spent quite some time making sure there wasn't actually anything wrong, and I made it home without any further problems.

Excellent Service

During my stay in Calgary, while I was attending school, I encountered major problems with my vehicle. After many attempts from mechanics in my hometown (which is out of province) and other establishments in Calgary, outcomes were always unsuccessful. A classmate, also originally from out of province, recommended Jorge. Jorge took my vehicle on as a personal challenge. He diagnosed the problems that were never remedied and has left my car issue free. I would recommend Jorge and his crew to anyone requiring service. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop. Their customer service was excellent and they went above and beyond for me. Thank you Jorge and your staff, for everything you assisted me with. I am still worry free! Andrea
