Booked an appointment for grooming several weeks in advance around 1pm on a weekday. Finally took my dogs in for a grooming and the place was closed. No answer when you try to call during the hours of said business hours. This place is not very professional in terms of follow up with schedule changes and services provided. It was a waste of time and would recommend elsewhere for better services.

Always get a good job done here. It's nothing fancy. But nice people and I know my dog is looked after while he is there.
We have been taking our Cocker Spaniel here for several years. Today we had an appointment to have him done, when we arrived to drop him off, we were discussed. The place was dirty and the place reeked of urine and fecal. There were dogs in the cages and were sitting in fecal matter. We voiced our discuss with the situation, and refused to leave our pet there. I do not know how anyone could leave their pet, that they say they love, in this establishment. We will never take our pet there again.
I have always received outstanding service at Dirty Dog Spa. My pom/yorkie has had many different cuts over the years and to be honest it's difficult to pick my favourite. As a trained groomer myself I thoroughly appreciate the knowledge, hard work and workmanship it takes to run a shop of this caliber. Margaret always fits my dog in promptly and is a pleasure to deal with. Can't say enough about how amazing it is to have a groomer I trust explicitly to groom my dog.

Stay away! First time they took good care of my Cairn Terrier, second time was terrible. Not only did they Not strip her, the girl at the counter tried to tell me that they had. I know what my dog looks like stripped, she was clearly shaved. And not even well, they rushed through it since the shaving was all uneven, left long in some parts. They didn't even trim her under-belly, or clean her ears. They do not care about the dogs and don't take care of them. Go Someplace Else!
I have been going to Dirty Dog Spa with my two small dogs (Lhasa-Shitzu & Bichon-Jack Russell) for several years and have been consistently happy with their services. Unlike with previous groomers, the dogs are both happy to attend and have had no issues with becoming defensive or biting staff. I would and have readily recommended Dirty Dog Spa to others.
Think twice before you take your animal here. I was in the neighborhood early in the morning dropping my car off for a repair and I seen this place. I have an 8 month old dog (Pom) and wanted to inquire about getting her groomed and how much they charge. The door to the establishment was opened so I walk on in. Once I got in, there was a man at the desk and he had his back against me so he was unaware I was there. I over heard the staff in the back say “I don’t care if you have to pull her hair right out” I could not believe what I was hearing. The man turned around and ask me if he could help me. I then said to him that I heard what the staff just said. He then said that they were talking about his dog. I did not believe that for one minute. I then told him that I came in to find out about the pricing of grooming. He started out by saying to me that they are not even opened yet and then he was very rude when answering my question. He said I can’t give you a price as I have no idea how much hair your dog has and how big it is etc. I told him just forget it because after what I have heard the staff say and how rude he was to me that I would never bring my dog here.

This person came in ( over a 1/2 before opening ),when there was 1 person in the back setting up for the day so no one to be talking to. Asked about a breed that the prices does vary based on size and how much work is involved. Didn't like that we asked to see the dog before quoting a firm price so we could quote correctly. We have been stuck on a wrong price when what an owner says they have and what it is are 2 different things. Usually when someones has an oversize or extremely matted animal they refuse to let the groomer see it first to try and get a cheaper price. They then put a review that is false on line. As a dog owner would you stay and ask how much? if you through something was off? And when a poodle jumped up to look out the window into the front that was when the reception said that's my dog.
Oct 2011 First, the guy who works the front counter is so rude and condescending - right to your face. A total goof. We have been there 3 times and we were told "bring in pics of what you would like your dog to look like" so we did, AND explained step by step, dog part by dog part, how we would like his haircut. Come to pick him up 3 hours later and front counter guy did not pass along our wishes for our dogs haircut to the person who actually does the cutting, so he did not look anything like what we had asked. A total waste of time and money to go here, I will not recommend this shop to anyone!!!
My dogs always come out looking absolutley fantastic and they get to wander around while waiting for us to pick them up. They have a lot of fun. Have not had any problems in the two years we have been taking them there. I highly recommend this place.
