My husband and I went for lunch on a Wednesday.
There were quite a few customers enjoying their meal.
The 1/4 chicken dinner was delicious. Home made fries (not frozen), a fresh Italian style roll, and Swiss Chalet dipping sauce., and of course, the rotisserie chicken. Good Canadian food at it’s best! Not too spicy, with lots of flavour. Very satisfying.
And did I mention the friendly service? The owner even came to our table to ensure we were well taken care of. Halibut is also excellent.!
Would be zero stars if I could. 9 mins to be seated, 45 mins to get drink order. Only 8 tables on the go and people that came in after us have there meals.
The second order I made for delivery was for my husbands birthday. The order was late. The deliver said my bad. The roast beef was dry and had no flavor. Overall, the entire expensive order was really bad!
Took at least 3 minutes before anyone came to greet and seat us. At first I thought the waitress was ok;seemed fast, once we got the food we realized why...the ribs were so-so, chicken was dry and my chicken parm looked like it had been pre-cooked and just reheated;the edges were burnt and hard as a rock. Bread was also hard. When I asked for part of my meal to be put in a to-go container I was brought one, had to do it myself. Then the bill was presented face up, not down. Won't be back.
Terrible place for delivery! Short changed on what we ordered, food was cold and completely inedible because it was all jumbled together in one gluey mess.
Very disappointed in the service. Worst experience in a restaurant in a very long time! Food was not bad, service was awful! Did not help that our servers English was not very good at all. Could not understand us or vice versa!
