    Dr.Laycock is amazing.. however. When your appointment is booked for 3 you won't get in till about 3:30 for pre exam. Then when you actually get in it's about 4pm.. so make sure you give yourself a 2 hour window for a normal checkup.. this isn't the first or 2nd time it's been like this. It's not my doctors fault but they definitely need a better system please!!

    Absolutely no assistance from staff in the frame department. On my own and would have appreciated some feedback on frames. Staff member seemed to be wishing she was somewhere else, not helping a senior. Thought part of their job was to help choosing what looked good and appropriate - did not happen.

    Competent doctors. I don't think the user fee is fair when you have to revisit the doctor every few days for the same problem. I don't like the excessive upselling.

    I came in as a walk in with severe eye pain. the young female dr with long brown hair was busy with the other front end girls chit chatting about their personal lives. After waiting 10 minutes I walked out saying obviously you are too busy to see me. I would not recommend this place or that Dr.

    Paid $900 for gla...

    Paid $900 for glasses.The technician melted the arm on the first pair so they had to be replaced.The next 3 pairs were defective from the factory.Each time I had to drive 15 miles only to find that they had to be replaced again because they didn't inspect them first.I was the one being inconvenienced and yet the girls in the Optical Dept treated me like I was being a pain in the butt.They still don't fit properly but I'm done with them. My next pair will not be from FYI Doctors!!

    the onus is on you

    I was phoned by FYI to book an eye exam. Found out later that they slotted me in three days before my allotted coverage was to come into effect. This cost me $160.00 from my own pocket when Blue Cross would have covered most of the expense. They told me that it was my responsibility to check on my last appointment even though they called me to schedule an appointment. They have that info right at their fingertips. I do not think much of their customer service! Beware of their phone call...
