Gone Fishin'

Normally I would recommend this store but the attitudes of a couple of the workers are unacceptable. Treating customers like dummies and pretending to be knowledgeable needs to stop. This may work with some people.... not me. I let them flatter their own ego, without letting on how incorrect they were or revealing my own fishing history, then walked out. Shame on them for painting the reputation of a potentially great little business, with such a sour coloured brush.

Both good and bad experiences here. Nice little store, good selection, fair prices all things considered. Becareful what you buy there. If you need to return something it might not happen. Depends who is behind the counter. A couple of the guys are great but there are others who couldn't care less about the customers. Can't blame you for choosing a big box store although most of the staff are not very knowlegable, it might be safer purchasing. I still shop here for disposable items mostly.

A nice change fro...

A nice change from the big stores where you can't find anyone to help you. I had a situation where there was a newer product line that I was very focused on and they went out of their way to source it. This is the third time that I have gone here to find a particular item and the third time they have done everything to help me. Great prices and I can say that with confidence, so if you want personable service where there are still staff hired for what they sell this is the place.

Will not shop the...

Will not shop there anymore! We have bought many things there including a Browning Jacket and Pants. The Jacket was defective so we returned it not even a month after having it. Instead of giving us a new Jacket they sent it to Browning to fix it. We had to wait 2 1/2 months to get the jacket back and then charged 10 dollars for shipping. Any big box store would of given us a new Jacket and returned the defective Jacket to Browning. Not happy!
