New York Barber Shop

Absolutely terrible experience. First and last time I make a stop to this barber. I booked my appointment online, to which I arrived 5 minutes early. At my arrival I entered the shop without a formal greeting from any of the employees. Instead I was met with an aggressive "what do you want, are you here for an appointment or?". Took my client to get a haircut here, the barber was pretty good and patient.

Great cuts, been going there for a couple of years now, and they can line you up and do whatever you want them to. Just let them know exactly what you want and they got you covered.

As everyone else says, not a good barber shop. I booked an appointment with Dan at 6:10 a time which was suggested on their booking menu. When I got there, unknown to me (my first time there) the barber that I was directed towasnt Dan because Dan was busy and they wanted to get out of there early. I showed the barber (who I thought was Dan) a photo of the style I wanted. Fade on the sides long on top. He cut my hair so short, the only way to salvage it was to shave the rest into a buzzcut

These guys don’t listen and only have one hair style that they cut no matter what you tell them. My 14 year old son asked the guys for one inch cut and he gave him a buzz cut. The guy was so dismissive and basically he told him he would give him a better hair cut ... the whole experience was disappointing. They were very unprofessional and unfriendly

They advertise an 8 pm closing time on their website. If you phone at 7pm they will tell you that they close at 8pm. They also will tell you that no appointment is necessary. We took their word for this, we showed up at 7:30 and we were told that they closed at 7:20. Weird. I questioned this and was told that they NEEDED TO CLEAN UP. 40 minutes prior to close, they NEED TO CLEAN UP. Most barbers and hairstylists clean up as they go or after hours. Then they dont risk losing clientele. Wont

For a shop that markets themselves as having the "best barbers in the city". The cut I received did not back that up at all. First of all the haircut was not even what I asked for, the barber cut off way more than I asked. The top of my head was uneven, my lineup was not clean, and all in all the haircut just looked awful; significantly worse than what I would expect from "Great Clips" or something of that nature.

You deserve better
