Money or safety
They have a terrible manager. We had a discussion over a problem with car which we were about to buy. During the discussion about the price, he never concerned about safety of the vehicle or people on the road. All he said was there is no margin for fixing or giving us a discount. We didn't ask for a discount to get a better deal, We simply want to fix the issue for safety. Since he said he is not going to fix the problem, we wanted to get someone else to do the job but we thought they should cover the part of the cost. Then he said to us that we can just walk way if we have a concern. There is another customer beside us and he can sell the car as is. We couldn't believe what we heard. We like Acura but would never shop there. Too scary.

In response to the post above, I would like to clarify the dealerships position on such issues. Firstly, North Shore Acura adheres to strict policies and procedures in regards to safety. Each and every vehicle undergoes a full safety inspection and only those that pass the inspection are put available for sale. Each vehicle has a file which contains the full history of the vehicle, including the inspection, work done to recondition the vehicle as well as CarProof History reports. We do not sell or offer any vehicles "as is". I apologize personally for any misconception, or misunderstanding in regards to this situation. I would welcome the customer who posted on here to contact myself directly with any concerns. Due to the anonymous nature of this posting, I would like to infact determine the validity of this posting and the circumstances surrounding. it.
