I highly recommend Sharlene. She is a fabulous electrologist with many years of experience. She is incredibly kind with a calm disposition. After having a bad experience with another electrologist I was hesitant to continue with electrolysis, but Sharlene took a no-pressure approach and was very willing to answer any questions I had and alleviate a lot of my anxiety. I've seen her regularly for 6 months and have already noticed a significant improvement. I am very happy with the results so far!

I have been going to NSE for almost 5 years getting different areas treated. I first went there after having a very bad reaction to laser that stimulated more, very stubborn hair growth. That hair was successfully treated and I then had other areas treated. (The hair that was not treated by laser was much, much easier and faster to have treated) I have tried several other electrologists, but found Sharlene's sharp eye, steady hand, experience, and type of equipment to work best for me. Her availability is also great as I am often changing my schedule last minute. She is also very kind and makes it easy to relax. I have since moved off the North Shore, but still travel 45mins to an hour to get treated there. If you are ready to commit, this will work 100%!

Professional and private

I found this business to be exactly what I hoped for. The owner is professional and efficient, and she really is a lovely sweet person. She has a Nursing background and knows the importance of patient/client care. Her pricing is very fair. Her salon is comfortable and relaxing. I read another review about someone being uncomfortable with her table, but I found it solid as a rock. I felt no pain, as she can manage the current to suit your tolerance. I have found permanent hair removal in a comfortable and private salon. I also got Extreme eyelash extensions at this salon, and I am thrilled with them.

I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is seeking a qualified and professional electrologist. I have been to several clinics and find that Sharlene's service is by far the best value, and most relaxed estabilshment. She absolutely allows the client to dictate what they need and want, and never pushes or makes suggestions for further service. Her office is clean and modern, and she keeps her appointments timely. She is a true professional, having practiced for 25 years, and spent years as an LPN before opening her business. I was apalled to read a comment regarding her table being "rickety" and "uprofessional." This is completely false, and I encourage anyone who takes reviews of others seriously to book a free consultation and see for themselves. Sharlene is a very gentle, kind and professional electologist, and has many loyal clients. Please experience this for yourself. You will be very glad you did. I absolutely stand behind my 5 star review!

Efficient, professional, effective!

This professional is skilled and knows what she is doing. She is very pleasant to spend time with and can sense what her clients want, whether it is quiet or a chat. She has been in practise for a very long time and has a steady client base. She is devoted to her clients and cares what they feel and takes time to fulfill the requirements of her clients. She books appointments at a wide variety of hours and is flexible to the needs of customers. The business is run as a home-based business which means it is private, confidential and easy to access. The location crosses a main street in North Vancouver. Parking is not a problem. The work area is in a pleasant room in the basement of the home and is quiet, clean and professional. I have always experienced the owner/operator to be positive and with a good sense of humour. She maintains her skills and conducts herself and her skills with best practices. Her pricing is very fair, more so than other businesses that I have researched. Anyone who requires this service knows how important it is to find someone who is highly skilled, trustworthy and professionally friendly. This is the place!!!
