Just ordered two #2s with beef and broccoli, one with fries instead of rice; the fries were disgusting, 100% uncooked and so soggy with grease I couldn’t even cook them for longer at home. Egg rolls were also disgusting and soggy. Very disappointing
The Hong Fa Restaurant is a great place to eat. The food is hot and delicious, the staff are very friendly and efficient. A place where friends can meet. Go there a lot.
Seafood tasted fresh. Best Chinese fresh food taste great. Always greated with a smile and they never do enough for u and urs.

The best place for chinese food in Cape Breton ! You have to try it for yourself and I am sure you will agree.

First experience ,the waitress was very nice( and thought she part chinese)....I complimented the man at front desk (assume was owner) on departing and said i would be back.....was there with my young son whom is a preteen and my infant child. My second experience here was a party of 7( 2 infants)... the waitress was not the same smiling friendly lady as my last visit. The service was very slow and asked for a highchair....took half hour to get that while walking the baby around to keep her entertained.....i did not complain as I have been a waitress myself( although there was only one other table besides ours)...when the food was brought to me i politely said this is not what i ordered....and told her what i ordered...she said well that is what you ordered ( very rudely)!..and while walking away replied "enjoy your meal"...I was shocked as was my family! She came back again my family wanted take out containers and I told her to take away my plate as it was not what i ordered( I left my plate untouched since the food was served( an hour later). This waitress was the most ignorant, rude,disrespectful girl Ive ever had to deal with!. I been to this restaurant before and when i made my comments to the man at the desk while paying he said hes never had a problem with her before and he remembers me but the nice waitress i was referring to he has no recollection of...(.the chinese lady....he says there is no chinese lady that works there... maybe she was half chinese... but he remembers me being there 2 weeks ago, he should i left a nice tip and my son gave the waitress 2$ out of his own pocket).... ....BOTTOM LINE PAID MY BILL OVER $100 BUT WILL NEVER EVER RETURN! THIS IS NOVA SCOTIA WHERE PEOPLE ARE KNOWN TO BE OVERLY FRIENDLY......NOT AT HONG FA! MY ADVICE....DONT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT UNLESS YOU WANT IGNORANCE, SOUR FACES AND POOR SERVICE! IM VERY OFFENDED AND DISAPPOINTED! WILL NEVER RETURN!
