Worst Service ever!!!

Our family of seven birthday celebration started off badly when we arrived only to be told that they lost our reservation. The were able to 'fit us in', at a table for six with an extra chair shoved in. It took 20 minutes just to get our order taken. Then another 20 minutes to get our drinks, which were set at the closest point to the door, not at the person who ordered it. The result, we had to pass everything around ourselves. This happened with everything she brought. Plates were dropped in front of us. She constantly reached in front of us, without so much as an ‘excuse me’. Eventually, our soup arrived, and was basically thrown down in front of us. Enough that the soup was sloshed over the sides of the bowls. And again, we had to pass it around the table. After we finished the soup, we had another 20 minute wait before our main course arrived. Wait a minute...Isn’t there supposed to be egg rolls first? Yes, there is. So, our ‘server’ wanted to leave the main course sitting in the dining area while she went and got the egg rolls. No, we wanted it kept hot (not an unreal expectation as far as we were concerned), while we ate our egg rolls. Then she brought one too few and got really nasty when we asked for the last one. So she took our plates and brought out the main course again. Guess what? Cold! It didn’t take us very long to eat 1 egg roll. About 10 minutes between the first and second time she brought out the main course. And it was cold! That means to me that it was waiting in the kitchen for quite a while before being served the first time. When we went to the manager, an ‘I’m Sorry’ was all we got. The waitress came to the counter when I was there and said “The only reason it (the food) was cold was because I made her take it back (to the kitchen)”!!! As if leaving it to sit in the dining room would have kept it any warmer. After that, forget about getting any service. She never came back to the table until the end, when she dropped the bill and fortune cookies on the table. When we again complained about the service when we paid the large bill, all we got was an “I’m sorry”. Small conciliation for having our birthday celebration ruined. The soup and egg rolls were good tasting, the main course showed promise, if it had been hot and not served 20 minutes after it’s prime. End result..Good for takeout, but not eat-in.
