Velvet hair saloon has worst customer service. Overcharged for waving hair due to Naz because I. Complained about her last time due to wrong hair colour mix. She was mad at me and whispered something to Kiran. I didn’t want to create drama there but I want owner to aware of it. Pls don’t go there. After Maggi left service is horrible. Naz doesn’t have knowledge of colour mix she doesn’t listen she does whatever she like. I request to everyone pls. Don’t go there.

Absolutely love this salon. I go here all the time to get my eyebrows. Magie has been doing my eyebrows for years, she does an amazing job every time. Even when she's not there the other ladies are super friendly and do a good job. I now live in Downtown Toronto but haven't found anyone how does such a great job like them. Definitely recommend going to this salon!
Horrible hair dresser. She needs training. Asked for layers and she did a hair trim in 5 mins. Later I asked to dry my hair, she completely refused and said she will charge for styling and upon request she mentioned she can give me a dryer to dry on my own. So Unprofessional. Lady at the counter charged me for a fancy haircut. She was so rude that I had to just give their money and come out of their shop. Pathetic service and skill sets. I wish I could give ratings in negative .

I have been coming to velvet salon for quite a few years now. I have tried other velvet salons in Brampton and have never been a satisfied, as I am with the Peter Robertson location. Best staff very professional knowledgeable and does my face very well I do not live in Brampton anymore but still find myself coming to velvet salon Peter Robertson location to get my face done thanks ladies for all your amazing work.

Super friendly and professional staff! They always ensure you feel comfortable with the service provided before you leave their salon. I generally do not try new things with my hair, but seeing how professionally they deliver their service made me feel so much more comfortable trusting them with my hair. They are always willing to answer beauty questions and provide professional guidance when customers are confused. I'd definitely recommend!

Worst experience...Staff lacks training. Lady at the counter tried to overcharge for the hair cut and it turned into arguments. It is unfortunate she lacks basics and fundamental of this business.

I have tried all services; prices are reasonable & comparable, quality of service is consistently demonstrated by all staff, who are extremely courteous & customer focused. If I could give a negative star, I would. Just came back from a haircut, mediocre. Not too bad. Haircut plus wash is $25 which is what I wanted and I have a pixie cut as well. Without me knowing this lady "styled" (code for blow dry but she didn't tell me it cost extra) my hair and charged me an extra $20 which I was genuinely shocked by.
When I went to contest that with the owner, she started coming after me saying why would it be free...I could charge you $50 and give you everything for it.
Horrible service. Can't cut a simple haircut. Rude and Unapologetic. Will not recommend this salon, I will never go back. Pay a little more and go somewhere else.
