I lived in Japan for three years and I can confirm that not only is Toshi and his staff actually Japanese...not Korean or something, the food is authentic. This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to outside Japan...pretty good for Brampton! One of my favourite places!

We could not find this restaurant after Shoppers World, just passing by I saw this restaurant, searched the internet and found out it was the food we always wondered about, the best tasting Teraki, went in ate and was so happy to find them again, I live in Oakville, work in Mississauga, and now I am a regular customer again, and telling everyone that we have found the great food again, and cannot wait to order my regualr Wednesday night pick up....Special thanks to Maria at the restaurant...Dianne
food is not bad,considering you're in brampton and the majority of sushi/japanese restaurants and the food prepared are usually not by japanese people anyways. sashimi was fresh and a pretty good variety for a simple combo. tempura was good, but i found that it had too much batter for my taste. service was good, but not totally out there. definately go again, either dine in or take out.
minor response to a previous review... who goes to chinatown for japanese food? i'm chinese and i don't even go to chinatown for chinese food.
