My husband and I were looking for a great spot to eat in Brampton and heard about this place through a friend. We conveniently arrived on one of there themed nights which was featuring the tastes and sounds of Abruzzi Italy. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves very much. Would go back for sure! Wine selection was excellent!

I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the last few years and have yet to be disappointed. Upon reviewing the two previous posts i would have to totally disagree with them and base there experience on a bad night!

I agree with a few of the other posters - stop giving this such high ratings. We had a reservation for 7:30pm and weren't even seated until 8:00pm. We were offered nothing - no excuse/reason or even a cocktail during our wait. When we finally got to the table, the host literally dropped the menus on the table and mumbled something to the effect that someone would be along shortly to take our order as he walked away. The dining room was so over-crowded and loud that I my chair was touching another's behind me, I couldn't here my partner talking, and the lighting was almost non-existent. We waited almost 15 minutes for a waiter, and nothing. We got up and left without a second glance from the staff. I will not be back.

All I can say is stop posting 10 or a 9 they must be posting it them self ...a very bad dining exp..get a real chef and trained waiters!!!!!!!!

We all had such a great time, the service was great and the restaurant is very authentic. The food was like my Nonna's cooking! I cant wait to go back.

Definitely Over Rated

This restaurant came recommended to me. I also read some of the previous reviews which seemed to indicate a good meal experience. I was very disappointed. The meal was bland. Vegetables were under cooked especially the potatoes. Veal was tough and chewy. Presentation was adequate but not impressive. Wine list was OK but contained too many $60 plus choices. I've eaten at far better places for a lot less than I paid here. Atmosphere is OK but I would imagine overwhelming when crowded. The tables are very close together. All in all, I won't be back. Quality was less than average.

Prior to finding this restaurant I thought there was nowhere in Brampton to get great woodburning pizza. Wow was I ever wrong! This place was great…the pizza was excellent and the service was up to par. Definitely will return.

I had a great experience at this restaurant, everyone was so friendly and the cooking reminded me of meals my Nonna used to make. This is definitely a spot I will visit again! The new addition of the wine bar is also a feature that will have me return with a larger group.

Overall this restaurant is a true gem. Lots of our friends have been patrons for years, but we just never had a chance to get up to Brampton. My experience there was nothing like the previous reviewers! Food was authentic italian and bursting with flavours, and they had a fabulous wine list. Our waiter suggested particular wines for each course that made our meal and evening outstanding. Keep up the good work Vesuvios we'll be back!

Entered at 7.05, ordered at 7.20, got water 7.35, got pizzas 7.55 ... and the place was almost empty !! Pizza = baby size + $15.00 + greasy (fried ?) Service = worst ever and we mean it. E-V-E-R ! Ideal for breaking up w/ girlfriend or to go on a diet... (really...)

This reastaurant looks wonderful inside , but thats it, the service is boring. the waitstaff made me feel as if they were doing me a favor. then the fish platter i ordered was awful, it smelled and tasted off. when I complanied, he said. "The chef said the fish is fresh." so with that we will never go back. there is 2 other Italian restaurants up the street if your looking for a place maybe try one of them. I'll see you there

What sticks out most about my experience here was the excellent service that we received. Combine that with a cozy atmosphere, good food; and you're left with a place that's sure to be visited again.
