Haven't been there for 18 years but I can't wait to go back I'm living in San Diego now coming up in the year and that the first place I want to go looks like it hasn't changed a bit just can't wait

Fond Memories

I have many fond memories of this place. My grandfather took my dad when he was a kid, and my father took me. Its like a family tradition. What i love about it the most is how even though there are changes made to benefit the restaurant over time, it still has kept its family style roots. My kids love it too. Always great service too!

Had the best breakfast ever, the portions were great and very reasonably priced, the quality of the food was amazing. The eggs benedict were cooked just to our likingand the sauce was the best I have ever had. They have specialty buttermilk pancakes which were delicious. The coffee refills wee as many as we wanted and all for free. The service was very good , the owner takes pride in making sure everything is to the customers liking. I highly recomend it

Flapjacks is our breakfast venue of choice - my family and I try to go at least once a month. The service is never less than friendly and accommodating, their flapjacks and Belgium waffles are a dream and the fact that their preserves are always fresh in season makes it that much better. In fact, jars of preserves and even the homemade toast can be purchased for take-home. The selection of breakfast is great, with menus for the kids and Paul Bunyan alike. The atmosphere is inviting and welcoming, albeit quaint given the very small size of the restaurant. Having gone here for years, I've never seen it change hands - so I suspect the consistent quality of the food and great service is testament to that. While it’s a bit of a drive for most people, it’s in a scenic section of Caledon, right on HWY-10. Makes for a great weekend drive with little to no traffic in the morning. Despite being located in the scenic country, it does get busy – so be prepared to wait! Once seated you’ll never feel rushed and once your belly is full, you’ll be glad you made the trip. Oh, did I mention this place doesn’t charge you an arm and a leg!
