I have been to your restaurant three times over a couple of years. Just love everything . The food is excellent and the service. Once we were given an appetizer free. It was to get our opinion on the taste and presentation. Four of us have reservations April 5 for my Birthday and cannot express how much I'm looking forward to this evening
Loved the potatoes-shaped like a piece of pie-deliicious-but all else was only adequate, not worth the high price.Some of us had chicken others steak we all agreed it was fine but not worth the steep price, have tasted just as good at other places for half the cost.Will return only to use gift certificate we were given.
What can I say this place is awesome. We went for our anniversary with daughter. We had fantastic time, Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food is exceptional and worth every penny, We even were given a gift for our anniversary. We will most certainly be back again soon.
We've been to many types of restaurants with assorted cuisines and not many can I rave about. The Twisted Lemon, however, is a restaurant I can not wait to go back to! From the moment we walked in to the last bite of food, it is very evident that Chef takes pride in his establishment. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. The food flavour lingers after each bite. We all had different appetizers and entrees and were all very impressed by the art of the food, the quality (they support their local growers), and the TASTE! We were so full that we didn't have room for their desserts but next time! I would definitly advise making reservations well in advance and read through their website. Cheers!
I recant my previous review...my initial impression of this place was that the food was great, but the service is horrible. So bad that I will not go back nor recommend it to anyone. I went their with my spouse for a milestone anniversary dinner and both the hostess and the waitress knew this. We sat on the far side tucked into a corner and all started well until we had to wait over THREE and a HALF HOURS for our food. We ordered off the fixed price menu and they were out of half the food and there were no substitutions for their shortages and we had to pay extra- at the time the receipt was brought to us; what a wonderful surprise. I ordered a wine and my partner ordered a beer and after we were finished no one came by to ask if we would like a refill; the owner came and picked up the glasses but said nothing. It seems as if our waitress ignored us, she brought complimentary drinks and appetizers to other guests, but we did not seem to be on her radar. There is a definite local vibe to this place and as non-locals we felt out of the loop. If you want big city money beef up your staff because this place clearly is going through an identity crisis. A sad way to ring in a wonderful anniversary!
I am surprised no one has rated this place yet! It is superb, the food is all local and the staff is supremely friendly. It's located in cayuga, but it's a nice drive and the food is worth it. You get a lot of food for your dollar and you can be as dressy or as casual as you like. The wine and beer selection are also fantastic. Highly recommend!!!
