Excellent homemade food at a great price! Wonderful service!

Horrible customer service and not even mediocre food

Me and my hubby went there to have a nice breakfast,so we ordered chopped steak for me and western omelet for him. When our food arrived, we asked for a spoon (I'm not Canadian, so I eat with a spoon and fork) and the waitress asks "What do you need a spoon for!?" To which mu hubby replied "to eat", we were offended, and my husband wanted to leave immediately, I however just came out from fasting and was extremely hungry so I ate my food. My husband did not eat his food because there was no tomatoes in his western omelet and he did not want to pay for it because it only had ham and onions in the omelet. The owner went to us and did not even want to hear our complaint and said,"how do u know that a western omelet have tomatoes?" and "I bet you do this all the time!". To which we said "who goes and orders breakfast and does not want to eat it?", It was horrible and my hubby apologized to me for choosing that place on our way home, he said that it used to not be like that. One thing is for sure, WE'RE NOT GOING BACK TO THAT PLACE!

Had breakfast here -- basic OK. Home fries are decent. Their polish sausage and eggs are mediocre, though. Had a lunch special there too -- soup and sandwich deal. they are fast and efficient, but nothing special. This restaurant food is getting bland, and there are a lot of places in town that are offering nicer decor and better tasting food for less.

I love this place! The service is an excellent experience, their daily specials are an excellent value and very good, my only complaint is the lack of space, and it can get very packed at lunch time.

how do you mess this up? I knew I wasn't going to get atmosphere, but I thought I would get some decent food. THe hamburger, was rubbery, there weren't enough fries, and when I asked for more it felt like the soup nazi episode of Seinfeld. Wow!

The place is really small and homey. The food is just basic homestyle stuff but good still. The prices are extremely reasonable. If you like the small-town diner setting, you'd like this. Its annoying that they don't have interact, just a ATM at the door. Also, it's not open for dinner.

This restaurant is a tiny diner, filled with local regulars. The food is basic home cooking, done well. Lots of meat in the corned beef sandwich. Limited menu with good value for breakfast or lunch. Cash only - no credit cards!

My omelette was good but it was the service that made all of us not want to return. The place is slightly infamous for it's nononsense and slightly mean own/waitress. I got the overall feeling that everything was done to cut corners. Only one creamers per person per coffee. We had to practically beg for extra ( I think she thought we were trying to steal them)! When she finally gave us some extra cream, she watched us pour it into our coffee and and then promptly removed the unsed portion off of the table. The food itself was ok but unless you like gruff, abrupt service and owners that stand beheind the counter with their arms crossed staring at you... I would not go back.
