Good wings. Great place for a bunch to go out and watch the game and have a good meal. Many cold beers on tap and friendly staff.
I dont no what the below review is talking about. You go here for the games and the tvs but my friend have you seen the scenery? ask my friend Aberto. He might just get lucky because of our visit. face it, you can have good food, good drinks, good tvs and good girls and we all want that. Well be back, man.
Yeah! Good looking girls serving and eating. The waitresses are the cream of the crop in York Region. They have nice legs, nice hands, nice hair and bug smiles when you tip. They have all the fave beers and not too pricy. The girls playing pool are hot too. Better than most restaurants in the area for eye candy.
This is the place to bring out of town friends. Different place than anywhere in the province. Very sports oriented, off track betting, pool tables, indoor golf and huge TV screens. Food is first rate for a sports bar, good selection. Out of town friends always get a kick out of going to Wegz.
I had an amazing time at wegz, the hostess that night was wonderful! she greeted, asked me if i've ever been there and even offered to give me a little tour, the service was timely and the food was great!, i will definately recommend this place to my friends! And i asked about the reservations since i've seen complaints on here and the only thing they dont do is take same day reservations, so if you need a reservation call a couple of days a head, other then that it was great
I watched a hockey game there with my friends and girlfriends. Great service great food well worth the money!! Waitresses were HOT! The only place to watch sports in Toronto so modern!! Nothing like it but maybe in VEGAS.
I see all the reviews about the reservation issue, but I recently made online resertvation at Wegz, which I belive is a new option where you reserve online and they call you to confirm.I think this will make all those who were upset with Wegz much happier and will re-review their opinion of the place. The service was great, the food was great, and the atmosphere was just perfect
This place really sucks. Way to too busy/loud to hear the game. Good luck getting a table if there is a big game on! We called to make a reservation, but were told they don't take reservations. So we get there and had to go on a waiting list for about one hour and that was frustrating as there were lots of empty tables!!! When I asked what was up, I was told they were for reservations!!! What!!! PS...the tables sat empty for the whole hour we waited for a table! The food was actually fairly good, but the staff/service is what made me not want to go back. I even complained to a "manager," who did nothing to right the situation. First impressions are everything...and Wagz blew it!
Service was ridiculously slow. We were seated and waited at least 10 min to get a waitress. Food took 50 minutes and when it did finally arrive they brought the appetizers WITH our meal. Ordered a bunch of food and it was all just lousy, worst wings I've had. We were really disappointed in this place.
well first of all this place is amazing...loved it but the srevers that work there lack common sense i believe they bar help would do a better job then all of them put together as well the girls they have working there might i say that i would like to shake the mans hand that hires them or would like to know where they all come from their beautiful and the food was amazing definatle will be back
The service was great!!! For being a sports bar i still recieved close to fine dining service. Food was good and the atmosphere is great! What a fun place, I will defineatly be back!
I have been to a lot of bars and this is the best place to have a super bowl party!
Amazingly unique place and atmosphere. Went to see the Mexico vs. Argentina game and it was quite fun actually. The service was fast and efficient and the food was good. My only complaint was that the sound was not loud near the big projection tv and that the beer selection was very limited.
A great place to get together with friends to watch sports, cool down after a hard day at work. I went there two weeks ago with a party of 15. My problem is that with larger parties they need to get more experienced waitresses (and more then one)handling the tables for quicker and better service. It took me 15 minutes to get my drink. Not good. No Coors Light, Canadian on tap??? Those are the most popular beers. On the plus side. Great food and atmosphere. I will definately head back.
I have been there a bunch of time with the guys and we always have a great time. from watching the UFC fights to betting on the horses. Great place to hang out and get your buzz on. And the servers are hot....hot....hot.
The place was packed for a huge UFC fight on pay per veiw. The food and service were mediocre (probably because they were so busy) but the atmosphere was great. I had a great time, perfect for a fight night.
This place is the ultimate sports bar. Everywhere you look there is a TV, even in the bathroom. Food was great, service was awesome. Virtual golf, bowling, OFF TRACK BETTING, how can you not like this place. As soon as the NHL season starts, you'll find me at wegz watching every leaf game there. Let's no even mention NFL sundays!!!!!!!
Nice place to go if you had nothing else to do. Internet pictures makes the place look lager then the real thing. Called during evening time to make a reservation no one picks up the phone, was asked to leave a message. When I did arrive with out the reservation, there are more then 20 staff there when I got there, and no one there can pick up the phone? Quite lame as service comes to mind. Dress code there no bandans, you will be kick out if not removed. Thanks for listening enjoy you visit as WEGZ.
Food was good, however the bar service is brutal. One staff member on in the afternoos working a large, double sided bar. Main interest at the end of the shift was her tip. I had only had one beer along with my food, and the bartender was adamant that I check out and start another tab. Needless to say she got zero, I did however leave more than enough for the shift change person.
Went there to see Game 6 v.s. the oilers.. the place is alright.. looks better from the website.. food is mediocre.. I had 3 big problems with this place, I'll never go back. 1. their big screen, 16x22 .. if you sit around it, you cant hear what is going on.. you get better sound in the washroom.. 2. They dont serve coors light beer at all, they only have bud, bud light, blue and blue light and like 4 imported beers (becks is the only one i seen that i heard of before) 3. i called for reservations THURSDAY and they said, no reservations at all.. first come first serve.. so i was like ok.. so i showed up with my small group of people saturday.. 1/2 the tables have reserved signs.. haha
