Best Pasta In Town!

One of the first italian pasta restaurants I've been to where I was actually impressed. The "Fusilli Jerry" was absolutely delectable...a definite favourite. My rule for pasta is: if I can make better at home, it's not worth paying it elsewhere. Lets just say I have not found another restaurant where I feel this rule does not apply.

The reviews turned us onto this place. The food turned us off. We had the Agnellotti Justin and the Ricotta Cannelloni. Angellotti Justin - Mushroom stuffed angelotti. Stuffing was gritty, with a creamy pesto sauce that could have come out of a can. The pasta was al dente. Ricotta Cannelloni - unflavoured sauce that was just crushed tomatoes, and little flavour. We poured my overly rich sauce on the canelloni, and it made it palatable. Overall, very disappointed. And, there were no nonnas in the kitchen.

Good food - Bad management and customer service

I had my birthday party there and they would not give separate bills even though i arranged ahead of time on the phone and they said it was okay. The manager knew it was my birthday and still fought with me and accused me of lying even when i said it was okay. The food was good, but in the end they added their own tip to the bill which was more than 15%. I would like to go back, but the service has made me want to try someplace else next time.

Best food in town

This place has amazing food. The authenticity of it is great, right down to grandma still being in the kitchen making delicious meals! Although classified as a family restuarant I find it to be more oriented to a couples evening out than somewhere to bring the kids. Service is always great and they are always accomodating. I have been a few times and have marked this off as my favourite restuarant in Toronto. Go and you will not be disappointed.

love the food great service only problem is...

love the food great service only problem is that the chicken marsala which used to be my favorite has been changed and the last time I ordered it the chicken was dry and overcooked with a very small amount of sauce. otherwise the food is wonderful for the price.
