I could not be more impressed with another towns...

I could not be more impressed with another towns diner. I went here with my ex-fiance and her family. We talk and had a good time. I could not take my eyes off the great atmosphere of the place. Plus the waitresses were cute too. The food was hot and steamy, the drinks were refreshing, and the cake was like a little slice of heaven. I will return here if I ever return to Guelph.

The triple play combo which is of course a big...

The triple play combo which is of course a big breakfast deal, is better described as Bad quality, over cooked and a fraud. A fraud, because those scrambled eggs sure as heck didn't come out of any egg shells in this restaurant. I am not sure they are even eggs. We recently saw the advertising for the place and thought is would be cool to try out. They are right - they are famous for their triple play.. Bad Food, Bad Service, and 4 people that will never be back. Sounds like a triple play to me.

The once best casual spot in town is not what she...

The once best casual spot in town is not what she used to be. Cool hamburger, (temperature) tells me it was sitting for a while. Soggy fries and a ceasar salad that a few year ago I would have said I was looking forward to. Not to be ordered again by us. Third time we have been there in the last couple of months and every time it was below average. May try again in the summer when the staff turns over because right now, it is not on our list of places we look forward to. Hate to say it I really do.

well there is a reason I guess why you can get...

well there is a reason I guess why you can get bacon and eggs and coffee for under $5. So as my buddy said - you get what you pay for. Rubber eggs, tasted funny and all 4 of us had that comment. Coffee was dishwater and service was I will be generous and say not quite average. Boy has this place dropped from a few years back. Big time disappointment and it used to be one of my favourite spots when I was over at the university. Place is definately on my - do not return list .
